Each inventory takes a lot of time and requires much effort. To make the time spent and percentage of errors reduced to a minimum, use barcode.
Barcode provides users an effective information medium, which is used for entering data into a computer and automatic identification of read articles. Updating items marked with bar code requires preparatory work, in order to shorten the time of inventory, hired a minimal number of people and get accurate data on the condition of storage facilities, and by doing that does not bear primary activity.
Today, beside bar code, there are technologies that enable full automation of the inventory. They include equipment for mobile computers (terminals), the use of RFID tag's markup and automatic reading of products, and WLAN / GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA equipment for wireless communication with a central information system and remote computers.
Warehouse and store inventory is carried out by scanning barcodes on the items by hand terminal with integrated laser scanner, typing quantites and keeping records of the location of goods and the enumerator. With the time needed to scan information from barcodes (which is measured in split of a second) an enumerator can scan amount of goods that are many times greater than the "hand" inventory. The data is immediately stored while in electronic form, in a format adapted to input into the computer and software for automated processing. After the collection data is transferred to your computer and automatically processed.
